Customer’s Requirement:

Referring to the wood model provided by the customer, the EVA bag with 3D shape is designed.

The customer Akin is the owner at ZGUI that is dedicated to fashion paper handbag for women. She was interested in EVA molded bags, and hopefully developed new stylish bags by EVA material and thermoforming process. As a result, she found out Dongcase, an experienced EVA cases manufacturer.

The ideas in Akin’ mind was to use complicated and traditional Chinese style 3D pattern on the carved wood for EVA molded bags. Our engineering team could make it. We received some carved wood mold, so complicated and beautiful pattern, and challenge our thermoforming process. Soon after, engineering team scanned the data, After discussion, accurate correction data. Then made all of these 3D EVA molded bags.

Challenge 1 :EVA bags mold

Due to the complexity of the pattern, after scanning the data, it takes more time for the thickness of the embossed part of each pattern to accurately correct the data and set it more accurately on the mold.

Challenge 2: The choose of surface material

As ZGUI is a fashion brand of women handbag,Akin prefers to use matte textured PU leather as the surface material to make this EVA bag feel better. Normal PU wouldn’t work well on these complicated pattern. The only way out is to use special textured soft PU.

We perfectly solve the above difficulties after the many times testing. Akin got 6 models of stylish and awesome EVA molded bag samples.

Everything was approved and appreciated. Soon, we received a PO that ordered 6000 pcs as initial order.
